"Step 7: You’ve been in love with two people for a while now. Tell them about each other! Whichever one stays is the winner!"

Growing up I adored the band, The Groovie Ghoulies! They had so much energy and were super, super fun! Their bouncy pop punk was infectious and made me want to dance (and visit the Island of Pogo Pogo!). I’ve also been a great fan of frontman Kepi’s art. Back in the late 90s I wrote him a letter and sent some interview questions for my zine. Not too long after I received a reply…
Peep the REPLY.

What?: HINABN is a popular webcomic by Tessa Stone sadly never finished… but very VERY worth a read.
from the artist herself
"…on a very surface level it’s about an overactive ginger idiot trying to be a paranormal detective and sort of sucking but having an undead partner that is (surprisingly) better at it than he is. He also meets other types of paranormals and maybe one day stops being QUITE so terrible at his job. But no promises.”
So I thought why not get some interest back into this webcomic and bring more people into the fandom by having a group reading/re-reading!
And afterwards maybe there’ll be enough creative power for loads more fanart and fic and cosplays!
When?: The week of April the eight onwards! there’s only about 840 pages so it shouldn’t take long.
How?: START READING HERE and as you read blog whatever you like, thoughts, reactions, fanart, discussions, anything at all. A good way to meet other fans in the community and introduce your followers to the comic
Why?: because I like this comic a lot and I’m sad it’s not gonna update and wanted to re-read it…. that’s reason enough surely?
Hanna Is Not A Boy’s Name by Tessa Stone
“Heh. You’re some detective, Cross. Quite a ragtag freak show ya got goin’ on here. Seems like you’re more into paranormal charity than any real sleuthing though.”
It is better to have loved and lost than to have never read Hanna is Not a Boy’s Name at all
Goddammit, why did someone have to remind of that.
A very interesting take on Daft Punk’s “Derezzed”
